wake up earlier when I do meditation

I do meditation during yoga classes and practice daily when I had training.

2 days ago, I tried to meditate twice every day.
One of the benefits of meditation – increase your self awareness.

And I found that I wake up earlier than normal, I google “meditation sleep less”
OMG, it’s true. When I wake up, I feel satisfied and awake.
It’s a good time to do revision/ business activities.

In this couple of years, I look more inwards of myself.

家常小菜

明晚, 他飛新加坡, 與其說是我替他選了較長的 contract, 倒不如說這是我們的共識.

他在香港時會弄不同的給我吃, 但檸檬雞翼, 這新歡成了我最常點的.

我們也是對理想, 反應較慢的人; 過了一些時間, 才懂, 去實踐.

小動作

每個人多少也會有, 只是你身邊會不會有瘋狂的朋友把你的小動作放大.

但我會視小動作 – 我能不能當自己的分野, 因為當我對身處的環境富安全感, 我的小動作才會出現, 當然也得注意場合及次數.

我們總不能輸打贏要, 也不是說照單全收, 因為每一種性格也有正反兩面, 更多時候, 它們是 combo, 只是透過生活上的練習慢慢改善自己的缺點.

singing bowl

應該是 5, 6 年前, 首次接觸 goth bath, 還記得我看到的是森林.

再隔了 1, 2 年, 才接觸 singing bowl. 我對 singing bowl 是一見鍾情的, haha. 我不太懂, 所以也只在 studio, 或者 download singing bowl 的 app/ kkbox, 但剛剛旅遊時, 店主教了我, 我也帶了一個合眼緣的回家. 這幾天, 也是在找 singing bowl 的資料噢.

睡覺前, 會用 singing bowl 做 meditation, 睡覺好的. 希望多學一些關於 holistic wellness, 追逐過 luxury fashion, it’s the right timing for me back to internal.

縫寶寶

如果衣服只是有一些小破損, 我現在都會拿去給姨姨修補. 她的巧手讓衣服壽命變長 🙂 畢竟我也是喜歡那件衣服才買的, 若非面料洗舊了, 不想隨便就丟了.

我們身處的地方, 除了商場, 還是商場, 買東西, 是超方便. 但正正因為太方便, say no 更顯得珍貴. 去旅遊時, 發現其他地方的垃圾分類比香港做得好.

選擇

我們由出生起, 面對大大小小的選擇, 亦作出無數的決定 (並不是說每天 lunch 決定吃什麼這些雞毛蒜皮的事情).

年少時, 因為閱歷不夠, 也會問問長輩的意見; 同時也有些情況是, 一些跟你無關痛癢的人, 會給予很多意見, 雖然會給你帶來一些困擾, 但還是跟隨心裡的意願. 由自己決定怎走每一步最大的好處, 你會懂得擔當二字. 走哪一步, 不是說要去計算, 因為根本算不來, 只是你知道, 自己承擔風險的能力. 有一些評估, 多少是直覺, 直覺背後是由洞察力所支撐.

我手上沒有水晶球, 但大原則還是堅持著: be kind, be considerate, don’t look back

喜歡看書, 也喜歡去旅行, 因為不懂的有很多, 多看多學, 感受不同的文化, 才能讓自己多明白一點.

Loyal Customer

Indeed, it’s difficult for me to become a loyal customer. I don’t know how to describe verbally how I love trying new stuff.

But the story changed since last year. Finally, I found brands below I can rely on,

Shampoo – Avalon Organics
Skin Care, Make up – Bottega Verde
Fragrances – Jo Malone

It’s quite nice to make purchase at the shops you are familiar with. Saving time and money, and the brand providing full range of products you need. So you don’t have to shop around.

The aromatherapy course will start 2 weeks later (I am so excited!) And there will be a lot of assignments, exams are waiting for me. My motto about stay young – keep learning.

Yoga Mat – Manduka and Liforme

I am a fortunate one I don’t have to bring yoga mat to studio. (Thanks to the successful business model made in Hong Kong.)

The first yoga mat I bought was Manduka. It’s because I needed home practice when I took training (2 years ago). The longer you practice, the better understanding of your body condition. My right knee is not that good, so I chose Manduka because of the thickness.

I sweat a lot even I am not doing hot class. So I bought Liforme a month ago. I saw many posts saying that kind of you choose one of them. It’s SO AMAZING when I use both of them for practice. I got the protection for my knee, headstand, at the same time I can have secure grip for arm balancing poses (I am weak in those).

To me, yoga mat (and other thing which can make my practice/ workout better) is a gift to myself. So I clean the yoga mat with care every time 🙂 I know I am changing. In the past, I spent the money on clothing, fast fashion and fad items. After practice, I found I can’t live without coffee and yoga.

What I am trying to say you have to find something you love doing in life, treat yourself so well. So that you can share your energy with others.

運動的好處

除了大家最常聯想到的 stay fit, stay healthy, 對於心理素質也是一個有效的訓練.

stay fit, 才能把 normcore 的服飾穿得好看, 因為我是提倡建立 capsule wardrobe 的人, 很多東西也是一環扣一環, 這是 lifestyle, 也是你個人的品牌.

stay healthy, 這是享受自由的大前提, 沒有了健康, 啥都別想做, 因為有心無力.

為什麼我會說運動是心理素質的訓練, 以我來說, 我好些時候會有懶床的習慣, 但早起 yoga practice/ workout 時, 我是聽到鬧鐘響, 便立即起床. 運動可以治好拖延症. 還有, 我跑步時, 總會設定一個距離, 比方說 5k, 6k (看當天身體狀況), 基本上, 跑到一大半的時候, 就會不想跑, haha, 但聽到 workout remix 的音樂, 還是乖乖地繼續跑. 因為完成目標後, 你會打從心底裡笑出來.

yoga practice 也不是每一個 asana 你也能做到 full pose, 尤其是在 hot room 裡頭, 但 focus 令你忘記身處的環境, 練習時間也很快過去.

這說明運動會讓你變得有決心, so far, 我還未找到其他東西會為我帶來這樣的轉變.

我們的生活, 也不是每一刻都是順境, 碰到問題正常不過, 但我們要有籌碼讓事情變好.

每一個人都希望愈來愈好, 先從自身變好,其他東西都會改善過來. 因為是我們選擇怎去看待, react 事情.
